The pain
In the West Auckland area, there had been a number of staff changes and a new area manager appointed. The team was a mix of some new people to the role and others who had been there for some time. The area manager wanted a program that would bring them all together, align their values to the organisation and increase the trust and communication. The area manager had experienced JOLT Challenge in a previous role and knew who to call to help achieve his goals.

The weekly link ups provided an important time to share what they learned from each chapter of JOLT and how they could apply in everyday situations. I like the way the JOLT book gave the foundation understanding of how the brain and body works and responds and then questioned the participants to delve deeper into their own behaviour in a number of areas.
