Participants: Managers from the Aeronautical and Retail teams

The pain
As with many organisations these two teams suffered from poor communication and the silo effect. Traditionally these two teams have not worked well together and trust was an issue. The managers of the two teams wanted to bring their respective team leaders together to eliminate the silo effect and foster a positive inter-team dynamic. They recognised this would take time and wouldn’t happen on a traditional training program and sought out JOLT Challenge not only because of its holistic nature but also because of its time-spaced learning component.

The results
The following impacts are a direct result of JOLT Challenge:
100% felt an increase in collaboration and socialisation with fellow participants
100% experienced an increase sense of trust among participants

100% of the participants would recommend JOLT Challenge

What the client says

"We decided to implement JOLT Challenge with two departments at Auckland Airport. These particular departments were actively seeking ways to enhance their working relationship, better understand why barriers occurred and to work together on a positive initiative. JOLT Challenge provided the impetus to shift the nature of the working relationship between the groups while also providing valuable personal and professional insights. All those who went on the JOLT Challenge journey reported gains from the project. I wholeheartedly recommend JOLT Challenge as a program to develop essential self leadership skills."

— Judy Nicholl, General Manager, Human Resources, Auckland Airport
